Hiroko Morimoto

Born in Saitama Prefecture in 1977. Graduated from Tama Art University`s Faculty of Art and Design with a major in Textile Design. Selected a textile course while in school and learned about dyeing threads, weaving fabrics, and fabric structure. Hired at Maruyoshi Co. Ltd. after graduation. Designed and developed a wide range of bags, covering Japanese cartoon character-adorned bags to apparel products. Later changed to a new position at TC Co., Ltd. (Tsumori Chisato Design Studio). Resigned in 2005 and became a freelance textile designer. Established morimo textile Limited in September 2008.

Working primarily in textile design for brand bags, small accessories,
bedding, interior goods, etc.
